Delete your Flourwise data

1. Before deleting
There is no separate Flourwise login account to close. App content, store purchases, cloud/device backups and email subscriptions are separate. Export anything you want to keep; portable JSON exports do not include photo files. Deleting local data does not cancel Pro or automatically erase data previously sent to providers.
2. On iPhone or iPad
In Flourwise settings, open the data section and use the option to delete all data, then confirm. This clears the main library and attempts cleanup of local photos, calculator drafts, temporary exports, pending reminders and local purchase state. If an error is reported, cleanup may be incomplete. Alternatively choose Delete App in iOS storage settings. Offload App retains documents and data and is not equivalent to deletion. Purchases remain associated with your Apple Account and may be restored.
3. On Android
Use Flourwise’s delete-all-data option in settings, or Android Settings → Apps → Flourwise → Storage → Clear storage/data. Uninstalling normally removes app-private data; system restore can bring back a saved backup. The names of system options vary by device. Delete individual recipes/photos inside the app if you do not want to clear everything.
4. Backups, exports and shared copies
Delete exported JSON/PDF files and shared photos separately in Files, Google Drive, iCloud Drive or the service you selected, including trash if necessary. Manage Android device backups in system/Google backup settings; manage iCloud backups in Apple Account → iCloud → storage/backups, and computer backups on that computer. Deleting data inside Flourwise does not erase existing external copies or files already sent to other people.
5. Analytics, AI, newsletter and support
Disable optional analytics and crash reports in privacy settings to stop future collection. This does not instantly erase server history: Analytics has its configured retention, while Crashlytics uses a separate 90-day retention before deletion starts. Google may retain AI request data for service security and abuse monitoring; removing the imported recipe does not recall that request. Unsubscribe from newsletter/waitlist emails using their link. For personal-data requests concerning support, mailing records or provider processing arranged by us, write to support@flourwise.com. We will assess deletion and any lawful retention exceptions; we may need identifiers to find a record.
6. Cancel payments separately
Android: Google Play → Subscriptions → Flourwise. iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Flourwise. Use the account that made the purchase. Refunds are a separate request to the relevant store. We normally respond to data-rights requests within one month, with lawful extensions notified when applicable. The privacy policy explains your rights and complaint options.
